Reed diffusers are an excellent way to give any room a personality and most importantly, the beneficial essential oils released into the air create a calm ambience and maintain a consistently pleasant-smelling atmosphere. If you have been collecting essential oils and are running out of ideas on how you could use them, you can make your own reed diffusers; they are quick, fun and easy to make.
Add your carrier oil to the bottle and add about 25 drops of an essential oil of your choice. Make sure that your bamboo skewers are trimmed on either ends to avoid pointy tips. Stir the essential oils and carrier oil mixture using the bamboo skewers. Place the diffuser in the centre of the room that you want to place it in and away from direct sunlight.
